Activities:
The activities of the APRAS Shall be :
Objectives enshrined in the memorandum of association
To associate together in one corporate body, all qualified workers practicing plastic surgery or actively interested in plastic surgery
To serve as an agency to safeguard the interest of its members and for the development of plastics surgery and to this end:
- Interact with the Medical Council of India and other medical groups and associations.
- Monitor and advise on relevant government legislation and University measures.
- Monitor and advice on the activities of the bodies connected with public education and dissemination of information, the media and the press.
To purchase, take on lease or in exchange, receive by way of gift, Grant or otherwise hire or in any other manner acquire any real or personal property, or any rights or privileges which are conductive to the attainment by APRASobjects as herein set forth or any of them, and to construct, maintain and alter any buildings or erections necessary or desirable for the work of APRAS.
To Sell, Let, Mortgage, dispose Of, Turn to Account, All or Any of The Property, Or the Assets of the APRAS, As May Be Thought Expedient with A View to The Promotion of Its Objectives.
To Collect Funds by Way of Subscription, Donations, Gifts, And Sale Of Publications, And/or Borrow Or Raise Money For The Purchase Of APRAS Such Terms And Such Securities As May Be Thought Fit.
To Invest the Money of APRAS, Not Immediately Required for Its Purposes, In Our Upon Such Investment, Securities, Or Property, As Determined by APRAS.
To Do All Search Other Things as Are Incidental, Or Conducive to The Attainment of The Above Objects or Any of Them.
